I know this will sound daft and a few people will be shocked. I love the estate st, and I need a tow bar, not a caravan or anything heavy, just light loads to the tip etc. But as the car is not rated for towing no-one will fit it.

If its when you break traction, could be just the wheel speed sensor crashing the ESP or the wheel speed sensor (located in the hub) could be faulty. Both mine where replaced recently, no code but eventually the ESP fault would stay on after the car was turned off and on.
