Kia Cee'd Sportswagon diesel 2013 - Fuel filter connections. Can anyone explain the funtion of the 4th connection on the diesel fuel filter on the 2013 model. There are two pipes, presumably fuel in and out, a posidrive screw for bleeding the air out and the connection I am enquiring about which is between these.
Lubricate the rubber seal of the new filter with diesel and screw it on hand tight, pinch it up with the tool. Replace all bolts/nuts. Refit the water in fuel sensor being careful not to over tighten the plastic threads. Replace and reconnect all plugs. The engine will crank for about 20s to prime before starting, job done.

Changing it was easy and solved the problems. The fuel that came out of the old filter was clean, until I gave it a shake and then I got a bit of sludge

I have to say the light just flashes on say 3-5 seconds it never stays on and it doesn't always come on. I can't seem to find any videos on draining the water. Kia Cee'd 1.6 CRDI LS 2007. Save Share.
